The FRBC tour to South America is in high gear, as Far Reaches Botanical Conservancy founders Sue Milliken and Kelly Dodson, along with our Board Director Cody Hinchliff, are traveling through Argentina and Chile this month. Their accompanying participants on this plant exploring outdoor adventure also join the world famous botanical guide, the seriously plant savvy Dr. Marcela Ferreyra — who literally wrote the book (in fact several of them) on the wildflowers of the southern South American mountains. They just completed the first tour segment in Argentine Patagonia, focusing on alpine wildflowers and have crossed into Chile, exploring the incredible Valdivian forests and alpine zones of the central Chilean Andes.
